B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) is a three-year undergraduate program designed for students who have completed a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) and wish to pursue a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. This pathway allows diploma holders to directly enter the second year of the B.Pharm program, shortening the duration from four to three years.
The course focuses on advanced topics in pharmaceutical sciences, including drug formulation, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. Students receive both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in labs, hospitals, and industry settings. The program equips graduates for careers in pharmaceutical manufacturing, research and development, clinical pharmacy, drug regulation, and healthcare services.
